ಮಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಬಾರೊಂದರಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿಸಿಬಿ ಪೊಲೀಸರು ಆರೋಪಿಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಪಾನಮತ್ತರಾಗಿರುವ ದೃಶ್ಯವೊಂದು ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಜಾಲತಾಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾರೀ ಸುದ್ದಿ ಮಾಡಿದೆ. ಈ ಘಟನೆಯಿಂದ ಎಚ್ಚೆತ್ತುಕೊಂಡಿರುವ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಇಲಾಖೆ ಆರೋಪಿಗಳ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಇಲಾಖಾ ತನಿಖೆಗೆ ಆದೇಶ ನೀಡಿದೆ.

ಇವರು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದು ಅಪರಾಧವಲ್ಲದಿದ್ದರೂ, ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಇಲಾಖೆ ತಲೆತಗ್ಗಿಸುವಂತಹ ಕೃತ್ಯ ಎಂದು ಮಂಗಳೂರು ನಗರ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಆಯುಕ್ತ ಶಶಿಕುಮಾರ್ ವಿಷಾದ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕ ಜೀವನದಲ್ಲಿ ಶಿಸ್ತು ಮತ್ತು ಪಾರದರ್ಶಕತೆ ಕಾಪಾಡಬೇಕಾದ ಪೊಲೀಸರು ಈ ರೀತಿ ವರ್ತಿಸಿರುವುದು ಸಾಧುವಲ್ಲ. ಅವರೆಲ್ಲ ಕರ್ತವ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಇದ್ದರು. ಮತ್ತು ಅವರು ಪಾನಮತ್ತರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಲಾಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಕೆಲವೊಂದು ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿಗೆ ಈ ಘಟನೆಯ ಪೂರ್ಣ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ಇರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಆದರೂ, ಘಟನೆಯ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ದೃಶ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾಣಿಸಿರುವ ಎಲ್ಲ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿಯನ್ನು ನಗರದ ವಿವಿಧ ಠಾಣೆಗಳಿಗೆ ವರ್ಗಾವಣೆ ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿದೆ. 

ಮೂವರು ಎಎಸ್‌ಐ, ಐವರು ಹೆಡ್ ಕಾನ್ಸ್‌ಟೆಬಲ್ ಗಳನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಂಗಡಿ ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಭಾನುವಾರ ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆಯೊಳಗೆ ಅವರು ಕರ್ತವ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಹಾಜರಾಗಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಆದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ತಿಳಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.

That, he was very dis-appointing, to see such a shocking conduct by our staff, as it would jeopardize all our efforts to improve public perception and police image in the public and it is on the grounds of..

1. Sharing table with an accused of betting case.

2. That too when on duty.

3. It can't be established that whether staff also consumed alcohol or not

Some of the staff didn't know complete details about him..despite of some explanations given by our officers and staff..this decision was taken as I found it is appropriate and proportionate.

3 ASIs,5 Head Constables have been transferred to Konaje,Bajpe,North, Kankanady town, Mangaluru South, Urwa and Barke station

Orders have been already issued.They will report to their new stations tomorrow morning"
